Get started
You can have Willow running in about five minutes.
1. Add Willow to your server
Press the button below and choose your server. You need the Manage Server permission to add a bot.
2. Check the permissions
The Add to Discord link asks for the Administrator permission so every feature works straight away, including tickets, moderation and anti-nuke. If you would rather give Willow less, open Server Settings, Roles, Willow and lower it, but keep at least these or the matching feature will stop working:
- Manage Roles for the role command, welcome roles and level rewards.
- Manage Channels for tickets, locking channels and slowmode.
- Kick Members, Ban Members and Moderate Members for moderation.
- Manage Messages for purge and automod.
- Send Messages, Embed Links and View Channels so it can reply.
3. Move Willow’s role up
Discord only lets a bot manage roles that sit below its own. In Server Settings, open Roles and drag Willow’s role above the roles it needs to give or moderate, but below your admin roles.
4. Run the setup commands
- Run
/welcome setupto set your greeting. - Run
/automod setupto switch on spam and link protection. - Run
/antinuke setupto protect against rogue admins. - Run
/ticket setupthen/ticket panelto start taking support requests. - Run
/levels setupif you want XP and level roles.
5. Test it
Try /ping and /status. If a command does not appear, see the Support page.
